Just a note that if you have the tire pressure sensors transferred to aftermarket wheels & tires to avoid the idiot light warning you that one of your tires is low, and one of them malfunctions, then they are NOT under warranty.

I called before making the haul to Vero. I also found out that there will be a Jeep dealership opening in our area (Ft. Pierce) in the near future. So, that was good to know. That way I don't have to spend the entire day at a dealership for any warranty work.

Didn't think those sensors can go bad. Wonder how they work. So they closed dealers to open new ones... Works for me Smile.

It's broken because it's saying that I've had a tire leaking since July 7th. I haven't put any air in it, so it should be flat by now, shouldn't it? I got a piece of gravel jammed in between the wheel and tire and it was pressing on the valve stem. It was leaking at one point, but not anymore. Every time I start my Jeep, I get the ding..ding...ding. and the idiot light that looks something like this (!). It's just annoying.

I think that they got a lot of "bail out" money and a lot of complaints from people who have warranties.

JEEP doesn't want to warranty anything.

That's very true. Everything is a fight. I am actually wondering if the "lifetime limited warranty" really means anything. Half the time, I just fix it myself, upgrading the part in the process. It's usually better for my continued sanity that way. I won't order a part from Jeep unless I have no other option and I refuse to have them do any work that's not under warranty. I'll find a mechanic that doesn't charge their ridiculous labor rates if I can't get it fixed with the help of friends.
