i found out that a 98 v8 zj tierod assembly will bolt in to a tj for a much beefier setup. bought the parts new at auto zone for a little over $70 bucks. this is a good upgrade for a little cash. _________________ IF YOUR GOING TO BE DUMB YOU BETTER BE TOUGH!!!!!!

I would recommend any tie rod upgrade that you could do. I broke the tie rod in 1/2 at an event on my TJ. I replaced it with a beefier one and had no more problems. Of course, I never, ever, was hard on it....hmmm.
Sounds like a good upgrade. _________________ Charlene

yah this thing is 1'' solid.stock one is 3/4'' hollow. tre's are much bigger and heavier.thing is about twice the weight as the stock one.yet it bolts in no problems. i saved part #'s for anybody interested. might even fit xj if they have the same steering set up i know they share same axle up front _________________ IF YOUR GOING TO BE DUMB YOU BETTER BE TOUGH!!!!!!
